Our client, a Belgian industrial company specialized in air filtration solutions is looking for a General Manager – Industrial Operations based near Namur
You will lead operations management across production, supply chain, logistics, sales and commercial strategy, with full P&L responsibility and a strong focus on operational excellence and growth.
Role overview
As General Manager, you oversee all key industrial operations and commercial activities, manage multi‑site performance and ensure alignment with the group’s strategic goals. You lead a cross‑functional leadership team and report directly to the CEO and Area Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day operations management across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, sales and commercial teams.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, profitability and innovation.
- Manage P&L, budgeting and forecasting, ensuring strong financial performance.
- Build, coach and develop high‑performing teams (recruitment, talent development, performance management).
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and labor regulations and internal standards.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across industrial sites.
- Collaborate with the executive team on M&A projects and post‑merger integration.
- Represent the company in board meetings, investor discussions and industry forums.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- 10+ years’ leadership experience in industrial operations and/or commercial environments, ideally with multi‑site responsibility.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, operational excellence and people leadership.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
- Fluent in English and French; any additional European language is a plus
